What is Timeshare?
In a world where stress is becoming an all too familiar part of daily life, the need for a well earned holiday away from the daily grind is becoming increasingly important.
Timeshare is a form of pre-paid holiday. Historically, timeshare was based on ownership of a week in a resort – referred to as ‘traditional’ timeshare. However, more recently, timeshare has evolved into ‘points’ systems which are a form of holiday currency, offering greater flexibility and more choices.
According to the World Tourism Organisation, Timeshare (or vacation/holiday ownership) is the fastest growing segment of the tourism and leisure industry worldwide (“Timeshare: The New Force in Tourism”). During the last seven years, global growth has represented the equivalent of 14% per annum.

How does the Points system work?
Points systems work much like a traditional bank account. Every year members receive Club Points which can be used to stay in various Club properties, as well as other worldwide destinations and cruises through Classic’s business partners.
Ownership of points gives you the flexibility to choose how long you want to stay, at what time of year you want to go, the size of the apartment and location.
Members of Classic Holiday Club can maximise their membership by taking advantage of off peak travel, mid week or weekend reservations, saving/borrowing points and last minute standby reservations.
